We aim for this to be a place of exchange and co-developing, where proposals can connect to each other, build upon each other or merge together, or where new ideas can spring off. When adding a proposition, describe in the body what you want to offer, how it connects to the symposium’s theme, how it relates to other propositions, and other parts not covered in the below.

To add a proposal or make edits, you’ll have to make a Notion account and log in. If that is technically impossible, you can add your ideas via this form.

Overall structure

Proposal for time-structure: to start from inputs, going to connections and projects to outputs/future plans:

• Part 1: inputs.
  • Traditional talks, but can also be in other formats, eg everybody having a poster to introduce themselves, a kinda ‘market’ where you can get to know each other; some kinda ‘speeddating’ format
• Part 2: connections, discussions
  • More interactive formats: games, discussions by several methodologies,…
• Part 3: Projects
  • Hackathon-style: form different groups that work on a specific topic, question, theme, (part of) the previous days,…
  • Aim is to have something for the next part (a presentation, or a game,…)
  • Can be interrupted by a ‘visiting’ phase, where people can look at where other projects are at at that moment, to give feedback
• Part 4: Outputs. Converging; to the outside
  • Presenting the projects
  • Can be a more ‘public’ day with larger audience, where people can come just that day to get a condensed version.
  • Also about “what’s next”, how to continue

Each ‘part’ can be a day, sometimes several days (or maybe sometimes half a day)
